The Lone Flight

[SYNOPSIS: This poem speaks of the painful separation of two lovers who fell in love despite their many differences.
Love defies all boundaries. This poem is dedicated all people fallin in love and to love!! ]

The Lone Flight

She hated the sun & stars all grim
For it reminded her on an only him

She had felt her heartbeat against his chest
Strong hands comforting her at their knighliest

Protection she sought in all his fears
Fidelity was hers, all dreams and tears

Even its own blessed boundary love defies
A free lark, bold and ethereal it flies

To a world blotted with human demarcations
Real emotions lost all of its due implications

Of mighty promises unkept they knew
Yet they strived to take any chances few

To demystify that dark line of pang
Passion and never a song of distance they sang

Off they rowed over the water separating their valleys
Holding a melting torch, over newly built alleys

Freedom they chose & love is freedom
They eloped to sunshine and all hues random

He combats an ugly twist of fate, least bright
They sold her to death, leaving him a lone last flight
