[SYNOPSIS: This poem is about man trying to capture the beauty of the living world in his own convenient ways. We, in the process, never think about the fact that- in an attempt to entertain the ever fastidious human mind, we are taking other lives into bondage. Read along as the poem explores the helplessness of a bonded life ]
Bondage Waves
Mighty he stood like a warrior at the colosseum
With less spectators in a tight space of an aquarium
Bitterly thankless for his regular meals
For bondage is a wound which never heals
Bright and beautiful yet driven blind
By man made features closely aligned
Gliding his fins only thru an enclosed water
Cruel fingers taunting, not much of a flatter
He dreamt of an open sea, waves and a mermaid
Can dreams be reality not enough said?
He who seeks to adore him captured and alive
Shall chain beauty and teach innocence less to survive
To breath in a human and tensed air
A life made public to mockery, not really fair
Can artificiality be truely natural?
Forced nature can never be real!
