[SYNOPSIS: The heart is so integral to life! And yet it seems like it really makes us do many weird and things not so much called for in life! This poem explores some such instances where I did what my heart told me to, and not what I had to do. It speaks about the mean part of all of our lives!!]
BEATING (IN) ME !!
To he who gave me a heart, O Lord!
To ignore its beat cant Iafford?
So beat not that my heart, as nevertheless you do;
Because nobody cares, however I've to live by you.
But beat! Not that I only survive!
Beat that its painless, I need not strive!
For, to bear a life and a painful heart,
makes me wonder why my life did start.
Its too human to be selfish.
Is it too selfish to be selfish?
I and myself turn demon.
I turn very selfish and poison!
